Excel Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional person-centered care. This role is based in a modern, dynamic nursing home on the outskirts of Kilruddery, Co. Wicklow, offering the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities for this Clinical Nurse Manager job:

• Ensure high standards of patient care through professional education and staff development.
• Supervise and manage nursing and healthcare assistant teams.
• Oversee staff allocation and ensure appropriate skill mix and experience.
• Actively participate in the delivery of care and manage unit operations.
• Provide clinical and managerial leadership to nursing staff.
• Facilitate communication with residents, families, visitors, and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain and update resident records, including admissions, transfers, care plans, and end-of-life documentation.
• Lead family meetings to ensure resident needs are met.

Requirements for this Clinical Nurse Manager job:

• Registration with An Bord Altranais.
• Previous management experience.
• Post registration certificate in management desirable.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• In-depth knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
