Excel Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a purpose-built luxury nursing home in North Dublin.

This nursing home caters for both public and private residents.

Responsibilities of this Assistant Director of Nursing job in North Dublin:

• Conducting audits and following up on their results
• Introduction of new staff and L&D
• Involvement in the recruitment process of new staff
• Covering the Director of Nursing if needed
• Evaluating training needs
• Ensuring the implementation and adherence to company and HIQA standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Implement company Health and Safety Policy to safeguarding the safety and welfare of staff, residents and others.
• Ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of the home is of the highest standard.
• All other reasonable duties

Requirements of this Assistant Director of Nursing job:

• Registered with the NMBI with at least 3 years management experience
• Qualification in management is an advantage
• Proven track record in clinical management
• Flexible and driven by results
• Experience in a similar environment is an advantage
