Excel Healthcare are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to grow our healthcare team in Cork.

Requirements for the Healthcare Assistant:

• QQI Fetac Level 5 in Healthcare support, nursing or equivalent (care skills and care of the elderly modules essential)
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (relevant work permit )
• Knowledge of HIQA standards
• Relevant healthcare certificates (Patient Manual Handling, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Children First)
• Own transport is an advantage (not required)

General responsibilities of the HCA:

• Assisting with clinical duties and professional care
• Assisting patients or residents with their personal care
• Working with other healthcare professionals
