Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in nursing homes across Blackrock Dublin and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities of this HCA job:

  • Provide exceptional care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Offer support and encouragement to patients in their daily activities.
  • Work closely with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), mobility, and during mealtimes as needed.

Requirements of this HCA job:

  • The right to work in Ireland (EU/EEA Passport, IRP Stamps 1G, 2, or 4).
  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (or equivalent qualification).
  • Relevant certifications such as patient manual handling, infection control, and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
