Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse based in Waterford to join or Healthcare team.

Working as an agency Nurse can offer flexible hours to suit your lifestyle, family, or academic commitments. This work can provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience across several different locations and areas of healthcare.

Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse:

• Taking care of the patient’s healthcare needs
• Providing a high standard of care and service within the workplace
• Carry out tasks as directed
• Administration of medication to patients

Requirements of a Registered Nurse :

• Knowledge of HIQA standards
• Active NMBI registration
• Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card
• Relevant healthcare certificates (Patient Manual Handling, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Children First, Infection Control, Fire Safety, Medicine Management and CPR)
• Preferably experience of at least six months within healthcare
