Excel Healthcare is now an Approved Tier 2 supplier for the HSE. We are currently seeking a Respiratory Physiologist for a public acute hospital in Kilkenny. The job will suit anyone looking for flexible working hours and experience within HSE.

Responsibilities of this Respiratory Physiologist job:
” Performing lung function and sleep study tests, interpretation of tests, preliminary reporting and alerting medical staff to any serious anomalies.
” Supervision of student/trainee respiratory physiologists, as well as the provision of specialist education to other health care workers.
” Be professionally responsible for all aspects of the post holders own work, under the supervision of Chief II Respiratory Physiologist.
” To maintain accurate clinical records as required.
” To keep abreast in understanding and knowledge of all new developments.
” Assisting in maintaining departmental procedures and protocols including infection control and general lab hygiene.

Requirements for this Respiratory Physiologist job:
” Possess a recognised relevant degree or diploma.
” At least a year of relevant experience
” Hold appropriate work authorisation to work in Ireland (e.g., EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work visa).
” Excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team.
” Be adaptable and flexible in all areas of their work.
