Excel Healthcare are recruiting Social Care Workers to work in Tralee, Co. Kerry within Children’s Residential Services for Tusla Child and Family Agency.

This is a temporary full-time role ( 39hrs per week)

Responsibility of this Social Care Worker job :

• Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Encouraging residents to engage in meaningful activities and promoting social interaction.
• Providing emotional support, empathy, and companionship to residents.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress.
• Collaborating with family members and external professionals to ensure the best possible care for residents.

Requirements for this Social Care Worker job:

• Must be registered with CORU or be eligible to register or hold a CORU-approved qualification.
• Eligible to work in Ireland – hold EU passport of IRP (4 or 1G)
• Have at least 1 year experience of working with young people
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Full clean licence (not essential)
